Short Term Parking (Stansted Airport) |

I cannot believe Stansted Airport Ltd continue to extort money from drivers seeking to collect people from the Airport. By disallowing kerbside pickup (no loading) they have effectively forced drivers to pay at least 1 Pound in the car park. This 1 Pound fee assumes that the passenger can be found within 14 minutes (not 15) otherwise the fee is 4 Pounds!! rising to a staggering 10 Pounds over 29 Minutes (not 30). I'd love to read any comment you have to make on the subject. Tony. |

I know that there were far fewer aircraft movements back in the eighties and nineties, but when I used to work on the Airport I can remember taking diversions for all other London Airports becausse our runway was always open. Those were the days. |
